National Bike to School Day is a nationally promoted event by Safe Routes to School (SRTS). SRTS programs are sustained efforts by parents, schools, community leaders and local, state, and federal governments to improve the health and well-being of children by enabling and encouraging them to walk and bicycle to school. This year the event takes place on May 8th. If you would like to participate send in a note of permission with your child. Other important details will follow as we gain more school support. But don’t wait! Be the first to start this effort in Lackawanna, NY.
