Old technology

Great job fifth graders with your 10/17 old technology homework assignment but I must’ve mentioned the word technology in every social studies grade so far this year. So this post is for everyone. Another word for old in this case is obsolete. It means outdated, no longer important. You know what I mean? Like, no longer relevant. We can’t call our parents obsolete because our parents are always relevant and important even if they are old. Another word for new in this case is modern. So power drills and smartphones are modern technologies, while stone tools and quills are obsolete.

So what other once upon a time modern technologies are now obsolete? Check out this video channel for more oldies but goodies now inducted into the “Museum of Obsolete Objects”. (Note: some short intro and outro science fiction music with each video) And leave a message in the comment box if you agree with all their choices or to say what else would you put into the museum of obsolete objects. Enjoy!
