Review Week – social studies

One thing we’ve learned this year is that America is made up of so many cultures and nationalities. Allah (see for your information page) created us all, so we do not look down on anyone because of a difference in language or country of origin.

We finished our review lesson on “international appreciation” by watching the film Koran By Heart over the past three days. It follows the journey of three children from three totally different countries and backgrounds who share one common accomplishment…to memorize the Quran by heart.
